Get set up
The extension walks you through each step after you install it. Here’s what to expect.

Install Cluttersignal from the store, then pin it to your toolbar so it’s one click away.
Step 2
Sign in or create a Clutterstrike account, then start your 7-day Signal Pro trial. Cancel before day 7 and you won’t be charged.
Step 3
A small scan icon sits next to each message in your list, and a Scan this message control sits above the email you open.
Check something
Most checks take one click. With cloud analysis off, nothing you check leaves your device.
In your inbox
One click right from your browser. In supported webmail the result stays on the message, so you don’t check twice.
Anywhere else
A text, a DM, a forwarded note, or a link you were sent — paste it into the extension before you reply or click.
As you browse
The badge on every site is worked out on your device. On a clean site it shows briefly and fades; a warning stays until you dismiss it.
Read your result
Every result says what we found, what we couldn’t see, and what to do about it — so you’re never left guessing at a score.
The verdict
No obvious threats detected, Use caution, Suspicious, or Dangerous. A clean result means we found no warning signs — not that a message is genuine.
The report
With cloud analysis on, you also get the written report and a 0–100 Trust Score, plus live link reputation and, for links and sites, how old the domain is.

Privacy and your plan
Checks start on your device. Cloud analysis adds live evidence; it’s on by default, and you can switch it off any time.
On your device
Scam wording, look-alike domains, where each link points, and risky attachment names are all checked locally.
Your choice
Adds live link reputation, domain age, and an AI read of the whole message. What you send is used only to produce your result and isn’t saved to our database. Our AI provider can’t train on it and deletes it within 30 days (longer only if it’s flagged for misuse).
Your plan
Check your trial or cancel any time from your account page or the billing portal.
