Email and phishing scams
Phishing emails copy the look of companies you already use, down to the logo. The giveaway is almost never the design. It’s the request: sign in through this link, confirm your payment details, open this attachment.
The rule that catches most of them: if an email asks you to sign in or pay, don’t use its link. Open the app or type the company’s address yourself, and check your account there.
