Phone and voice scams
Scam calls rely on pressure. The caller sounds official, knows a few real details about you, and insists that something terrible happens unless you act right now, on this call.
You never have to decide on the call. Hang up, find the organization’s number yourself (on your card, statement, or their official website), and call them back. A real bank or agency will still be there in five minutes. A scammer won’t.
